Group Work.

Today, my group and I had a meeting for 2 hour and half starting from 2:45 till 5:00. During the meeting we did many things. First of all, I explained the finance spreadsheet for the group members. Also, we discussed what we have done for the presentation and the report. Moreover, we divided the work that we have to do for the presentation and the report between us.

At home, I worked on my part on presentation and the report. I did 5 points and I wrote my reflection about Auction experience. In addition, I wrote what I learnt from it and how it helped me to improve my skills. Furthermore, I wrote about the problem that faced us on the finance and how we deal with it. Also, I sent some points that I wrote yesterday to Aida.

End Of Periad Four.

Today, we had meting with Sr.Tridib where he explains a gain the spredsheet for us. After that, I worked on it and make some correction. In addition, Shamah Falasi and I had a meting together from 3:5 till 3:58. We discussed what we have to do for the presentation and the report. Also, we read Tejari Presentation guidelines together step by step and make us understand each point and how we will do it.

At home, I tried to work on some of these points and found answers for them. Furthermore, I did some research for important information that will help us on the report and the presentation. In addition, I was online with Shamah Falasi taking about what each one of us can do about it and help each other on the research.

Last Few Days

At thuresday:
-We has meeting for 15-20 minetes discussing the Auction processing; what we did, what we spent, our profit, the problems we face and what we have to do.

-Post new items for 100kg from LQB.

At Friday:
- Working with Shamah Falasi in the Auction Discus and decided the new price for period4.
-Post new items for 100kg from LQB ( the last 1000kg LQB didn’t show on the Action so I had to post anther one for the same kg and price)

At Saturday:
- Checking the email for any news.
-I worked on the spreadsheet
-Collocated what we spent on the last days and our profit
-Read the Student Guide to Tejari Presentation and Portfolio Content and Tejari Project reviewed know what we have to do and have for the presentation.
-Discus with Shamah Falasi the post item problem that we had on Thursday and Friday and decided to send email to Jewed about it.

Wednesday 21/5/2008.

Yesterday, I did the same what I did the day before. I worked on the worksheet and I calculated all the quantity that we have and want for period 4. Also, at home I worked with Shamah Falasi on the Auction until 12:30 pm.

Period Three.

Today is a really busy day for me and all my group members. First, I calculated the demands that are require to period three from us to buy. Also, I worked on the spreadsheet and I found that there are some mastics o it and I asked other group for help, then I re correct it again.

At 3:10, my group and I were having a meeting about the work, where there was an argued on it and about. We decided two things: first to divide the work, second is if we have worked to do, no one can be absent in this day, we finished at 3:28. Furthermore, Shamah Falasi and I were searching for the beans that we want to buy for this period. Moreover, Shamah and I sent emails to many of the retailers asking them about the quantity that we want from the High quality blends.

At the home I recalculated all what we spent and our profits from period 1 and tell know. Also, how match we bought and sell from the Low Quality blend. Until know Shamah and I still sending emails to them.

End Of Periad Two.

Today, Shamah and me were have many thinks to do. first of all, I went with her to Ms. Jaishree to aske her about the car that we have to buy, which we found one for only 13$!!!!! and it was surpriesed for her and us, for that we sent an emil to Sr.Tridib asking him about it.

Also, I collected the profite we get fro what we sell yestarday on the Acution and I worked on the spreadsheet to made some coretion on it. In addition, I post new Items for the Low Quality Blends on the Acution. Moreover, I sent emails to how bought from us our items for yesterday and the days befors.

Periad Two.

Today Sr.Tridib came to our class to explain the spreadsheet for us; we started from 11:50 and finished at 12:55. Then I started amending and reviewing all the accounts that I calculated on it to make sure every things is right. Also, I calculated all what we spent and the profit that we got from selling the Low Quality Blends for the preview days.




In addition, I calculate the new demand of beans that are required to buy. Also, I calculate the beans that are remain and How We sold from them. Finally, I consulted with Shamah Falasi on the quantities that we want to be dropped off for sale and their prices and she sent emails to the rest of the retailers to inform them about what we offer as a kind of marketing.

Friday 16/5/2008

Friday 16/5/2008, I didn't do too match things. I only talked with Shamma Falasi about the Auction. Also, we her and me decided to sell more kg from Low Quality on the Auction. So, I worked to Mixed more leans to have anther 150 kg from the Low Quality. Moreover, I opened my email to know hoe bought the pass kegs from us and for how match.

Thursday 15/5/2008

Thursday 15/5/2008, the second day of the trading 1. I arrived at 10:30 and began working on the spreadsheet. Before that I went with the class girls to search for Sr. Tridib, because we did not understand how to work on the spreadsheet, put we could not find him instead of that we found Ms.Jaishree, she tried to help us. Also we found Ms.Leana and we have asked her to come to our class to describe it more. Then I started to work on the spreadsheet where I discovered that the plant on Wednesday was wrong, and no one from my group members has come, so I began to work on my own.
12:10 pm Shamma Falasi arrived and we started to buy the remaining quantities from the whole sellers, where she sent messages to them to it from them. Also, I sent some of massages put most of the time I was watching the Auction. 2:15 pm we had almost completed the required quantities and then I started to account what we spent and who much we still have fro the fifty thousand. Furthermore, I confirmed once again that we have all the quantities required, and then I started to apportion them to Low Quality to start selling in the , where we began landing the first 200 kilometers of the purchase price of 3500 for each.

First Trading Day.

Today was the first day of Tejari trading. First we were have to received a letter from Mr.jaweed to begin the auction and buy the Arabica and Robusta Beans that we need. At 12 we got the letter from him and we started planning for the auction. we Started with a group met to discuss the practical quantities that we need from every kind. My and Fatima started to Account it obesity put we faced difficulty in the subject and we have asked Nawal from the whole seller group to inquire about how to conduct their buying and selling and waited until Sr.Simon to came to our class to ask about how to calculate it. At 2:10 pm he came to the class and he explained to us what we didn't understand and helped us in finding a solution to it. We have begun to enter the auction at approximately 3:00. At the beginning we were not fully confident of the auction process and we did not buy at the first two hours of the auction, where as the other groups have started buying to the purchase and some of them started to sell. The issue of buying talked from us a long time to understand well, but we started to participate without buying.

After the end of the college shamah and I decided to late for additional hours in order to resolve this problem. We've found that prices seemed to grow, so we decided to find a solution for it. We decided to send messages to other groups from other colleges, who participate with and tell them what we need from each each type of those beans. Also, it have been successful idea and we received one replay from Lat-Coffee to buy from them 100kg of Arabica Beans in a lowest price that any one can found in the auction and before that we had 100 kg of Robusta in a exorbitant price . But after that we decided to trick-up and earn sufficient quantities of these kinds in cheapest prices. We leave at 6 pm.

A Busy Day.

Today was a day full of hard work and meetings. First, Sr.Tridib attended to our class at 9:15 AM to answer questions asked by some groups. At 12:10 we had another meeting with Sr.Tridib revolves around the finance part and the spreadsheet, so it was only for the financial girls from each group, where we discussed some questions with him related to the spreadsheet and we finished at 1:10 pm. We were unable to complete the meeting with him because we had a presentation for the English class and he said that he will identify another date for this meeting for our class.

Also, today we were have to of late at the college to do working extra hours for Tejari project which we have to submit it tomorrow morning at the latest. What we did is that we divided the work between us. I debated with Fatima about the on the finance part and about the pricing of products that we will have in our website. After that, I wrote a paragraph about our products and offers that we have for our business, which will be offer to the customers through our website and this graph will be transport to the website. Moreover, I wrote a paragraph with Shamma Falasi about us about our business for the welcome page. After that, I had to leave at 7:7, left of to the house and when I arrived I called my other group members to make sure that everything is fine and if there any work left that I can help them with.

Second Day “Work Day".

Today is the second day since the beginning of the project. We do not carry out any formal meeting for the day instead of we have spoken periodically about the work of every one of the team and the problems that facing any of us.

As for me, what I did today is as follows: I did the register in Tejari for the Auction and I coped that to be as evidence for the success of the work. Moreover, I sent the user name and the password to the rest of the group. In addition I spooked with Fatima about the spreadsheet that we have to download from Tejari site for the finance part. What I did is that I called for assistance from other groups to know how to download it and then I sent a copy for Fatima because she is with me in the finance.

Also, during research at the site I found a very important issue releated to the work we will do during Tejari, I saved it and I sent a copy for Shammah Falasi as she is the organizer of the group. Before the end of the day, Aida faced a problem in the course of her work and she asked me to help her with. I requested assistance from the rest of other groups, Zeinab from the others group tried to help me with it and I’m still work on it.

First Meeting.

Today was the first day we meet to talk about a Tejari more formal and serious. The meeting lasted 30 minutes where we started at 2:35 and finished 3:5. We talked about the project deeper and make sure that every member of the group had understood correctly placed.

We have also divided the roles of members of the group, where Aida will create and hold all the work that relate to the website such as; checking the feedbacks on the contact forms and if the website is targeting its market. Shamah Al Felasi will be the manager and she will be the organizer observer of all what happening during the auction. Also, she will and Follow-up all the business that is going on. Shamma Salmin & Fatma Al Sayegh will hold the finance part and doing the financial spread sheets.
